North Palm Beach Country Club, is a public, 18 hole golf course located in North Palm Beach, Florida.
The course has two distinct histories. Pre 2006 and Post 2006.
The Golf Course at North Palm Beach Country Club dates to the early 1920s. The course was designed by Seth Raynor. Mark McCumber redesigned this course in 1990.
The Golf Course at North Palm Beach Country was redesigned and re-opened to the public for play in the fall of 2006. The redesigned course was designed by Jack Nicklaus. This links-style course is 1 of only 2 Nicklaus Signature Municipal courses in the United States.
Sitting atop the Seminole Ridge, this picturesque layout was artfully redesigned to work in harmony with the natural terrain, from the intracoastal waterway to the natural oak hammocks. This course design features elevation changes, rolling fairways and undulated well-bunkered greens. This par-71 course was lengthened to over 7,000 yards from the back tees. With 5 tee positions on each hole, the course can accommodate all skill levels, from championship players to high handicappers.

Waste pans should not have to be raked. Staff could be a little more welcoming to women players.

Liked course, over priced for what you can get in 30 mile range. greens are tough.....fast. Would play again just to score better on greens. It is pricey compared to other 4 courses I played in area.

This is a fun and challenging course. Very tough greens. Lots of sand traps. But you can score well if you think your way around.

$22 for 9 holes seems a little pricey to me for summer twilight play, but the layout and the greens are superb. Mr. Nicklaus's design seems to penalize anyone who hits a draw to the 250 to 275 range as most traps are there. Still, the pace of play was good, and the staff very friendly. Greens were very fast and there were not a lot of flat putts to be found. I happen to love fast greens, even if it does cost me two or three strokes a round. But still, this is a beautiful course in South Florida. If you're down for a visit, or are lucky enough to live here, it's a better deal than many of the higher priced clubs.

One of few Jack Nicklaus Signature courses that are open to the public. This is Jack's hometown and he made a course that he could be proud of. Fun to play with lots of challenges and alternate ways to play most holes. Lots of bunkers to avoid and fast undulating greens.

For a public course, as good or better than many private courses in the area. Since Jack Nicholas converted an old "cow pasture course" into a Nicholas "Signiture Course". It is awesome to play from any of the tee boxes. Beautifully manicured fairways and greens. Great for both low and high handicappers. The staff is wonderful and from the time they take your bag until the time the wash and return them, they make sure your taken care of. There is a nice restaurant in the clubhouse for drinks and eats. I would tell any golfer, don't miss this course if you have a chance to play it.
